I had 5 1/2 hours of pancreas surgery in, 2005 due to scar tissue forming in my pancreas and common bile duct. In 1993 I had the first surgery as I have a pacreatic divisim and a severe stenosis of my ducts. When I saw Dr Doukedis I was having pain and he informed me after reviewing my surgical reports that he could have endoscopically done my surgery. On Monday July 22, 2019 I had a endoscopy with Dr. Doukides. I was referred by my gastroenterologist Dr. Lindenberg to Dr. Doukides because he was not available on that day and I needed it done a.s.a.p. I was a bit nervous not knowing the new doctor but Dr. Lindenberg assured me that i would be in great hands and would trust his family members with Dr. Doukides. My mom went to see Dr Doukides for her ulcerative colitis and explained that she was suffering with irritable bowls for over 3 weeks. Two days later she was scheduled for a colonoscopy and was told they were going to do a biopsy. Before leaving, the doctor informed us that he would have his staff call the Insurance company to see what medications were covered so it would be affordable to her.
