I’ve been going here for two years. Most times, I was very satisfied. This last time was probably the worst experience I have ever had. The lady who did my hair did not do what I asked for. I let it rock because it was pretty, I can’t lie, but it still was not what I wanted. The owner was aware that the person working on my hair was doing it wrong. No corrections were made. They sweep the leftover hair out the door and into the parking lot. It's helping the neighborhood look trashy and it's very inconsiderate.
My sister Lena referred me to this place the lady Mama braided my hair and I love my hair so much this is my new go to place.. not only that but the prices are very reasonable. They also asked me when she put the first braid in is it too tight.. I did let her know that it wasn't and that it was perfect.. so they do ask you if it's too tight.. I do recommend this place.. my hair is beautiful
Do not recommend. My experience started off okay until the owner came into the shop. Immediately, she started going up to each client & running her fingers through their hair analyzing the braiders work without saying hello or anything. To some clients she took her phone out & began taking photos and videos without their permission. Do not waste your time coming to this braiding shop. The first time I went they did an amazing job but they took advantage of my admiration my first time coming in and completely undermined what I asked for the second time to up the price. I asked for mid back and sent a picture of the size and parting I wanted. The women then asked for my payment before I was finished, very unprofessional, I gave in because I trusted them.
