I ordered the half downtown turkey sandwich with a bowl of loaded potato soup and a side of pasta salad and everything was AMAZING!!! All of the staff was super nice and I loved the atmosphere. This was my 1st visit and can't wait to go back. DELICIOUS!!!!
Really disappointed about this place. Ordered a pimento smash burger & sweet potato fries to go. Burger looks picture perfect, and the flavors are definitely there, but the patty is smaller than a McDonald’s burger, and only takes up half of the bread. Basically ordered a pimento and jam sandwich. Sweet potato fries were alright — zero crisp to them. Also ordered a side of their house sauce and didn’t get it. Would be a good burger for a vegetarian since there basically isn’t any meat.
FIVE YEARS OF PATRONAGE ENDED TODAY — AND NOT BECAUSE OF A SANDWICH. I just had one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had at a place I raved over for years. , And what made considerably worse by how the owner, handled it. My favorite spot in Rome is Doug’s hands down for lunch! Can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches and the cookies are delicious
