I found Doug’s Automotive through a Facebook ad for a used transmission. We agreed on an incredibly fair price, and from the start Doug was great to work with. He was prompt with responses, answered the phone when I called, and communicated clearly throughout the process. Honestly, this was the best experience I’ve had with a mechanic in quite some time. My daughter broke down about 50 miles North of Boise late on a winter Sunday afternoon. After reading reviews she contacted Doug (Doug’s Automotive) late that Sunday evening. Doug met her the next morning and towed her car to his shop in Boise (very reasonable). His diagnoses wasn’t standard, but he nailed it. Bright, honest, timely and a fantastic communicator. A+.
