Excellent mechanic, trustworthy and honest. I have always been please at the service provided.
We've been going to Doug's Auto for over 4 years and we are very happy with the service. Going to a mechanic is often a stressful nightmare. Not many of us have a great deal of knowledge about the inner workings of our cars, but we do know that mechanics often take advantage of that fact. The owner of Doug's is as honest as they come. He does a great job as far as the repairs are concerned and he is always pleasant and accomodating.
I had the pleasure of calling Doug's auto shop this morning due to my pulley going bad on my water pump. Not knowing too much about automobile structure I began to ask questions of the price of the repair, water pump price, if a pulley could be changed without the entire water pump being removed. etc. I guess customer service is not apart of the job description of this mechanic who received my call. I was told I didn't know what I was talking about ( which I was just asking questions) and that I was wasting his time. Hummmmm... read more
