Dr. Weckstein is a compassionate and caring physician. His manner is always upbeat and positive. He has a ready smile and makes you genuinely welcomed into his environment. He is a gentleman in the finest sense of the word. He has given me hope for a productive and hopeful future. I will always be thankful to him for that. I would recommend Dr. Weckstein for anyone.who is looking for an excellent caring physician, who never forgets that his patient, is a human being.
Have been going to Dr W. Since 2003, so kind, honest and caring....would recommend to everyone...
At first I was impressed with Dr. Weckstein. He seemed knowledgeable and was very straightforward. But he insisted that I didn’t need chemo & wanted me to have a surgery instead. It took a month of back & forth with a Dr in Boston before he finally started treating me.
Listens well, answers all questions and thorough in his examinations. The only downside is the office waiting area is dreary. It should be light and airy for terminally ill patients.
I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in August of 2010 by Dr. Weckstein. From that point on I started treatment at Dana Farber in Londonderry. He now works out of the Hooksett office. I am still seeing him for management of my MM. Rd. Weckstein has always been very cordial, very knowledgeable, and straight with me throughout my treatment including a stem cell transplant. If he felt he needed more info, he would consult Dr. Labauch before further treatment. I find him to be very personable.
Went to Dr Weckstein at Dana-Faber for a second opinion for my bladder cancer in 2013. He was dismissive and never examined me. He told me that my current physician knew what he was doing then he declared me cancer free. A few months later I went to Leahy Clinic and was told that my bladder cancer had spread to my right kidney. Two months of intensive chemo and removal of my kidney left me dismayed and angry. The cancer to my kidney would have been found sooner had I had a proper exam, CT scan.
