We started bringing our dog to Douglas Square Pet Clinic because it was close to home. The reception staff and veterinary technicians were always kind and compassionate, but unfortunately our experience with the veterinary care was extremely disappointing. After our dog was diagnosed with carcinoma, we chose palliative care and wanted to focus on keeping her comfortable. Amazing pet clinic! The staff is so friendly and the vet was very patient and caring.
This has to be the worst clinic. Brought my dog and vet had him dead, needed lots of test, not sure if they would help. Vet definitely had an attitude and insulted my intelligence saying only a trained vet knows even though I treat people in hospitals! Told her that I did not trust her opinion and would go somewhere where. My dog is booked for treatment at another clinic and they did not mention one of this clinics deadly diagnosis. We brought our dog in because he was very sick with GI issues for several days. The actual veterinary treatment was adequate, but communication and follow up was absolutely terrible. We were advised that we would get a phone call from the vet the same day with the results of our dog’s bloodwork and did not. I had to phone the clinic every single day for the next 4 days asking if someone could please give us the results, and was told the vet would call us every day (he did not) until 4 days later.
