From my first phone call, to surgery, I have been so very satisfied. Dr. Politz and his staff are top of the class. So thankful for all the support and help I received. Highly recommend.
Dr Politz preformed parathyroid surgery on 4/20/26. For a long time I have had extreme joint pain and fatigue that was debilitating. My blood work indicated a slightly higher than normal calcium level but was not given much attention from any of my doctors. Finally my endocrinologist recommended I see Dr Politz. I was blown away with the knowledge, professionalism and care that I received at the Tampa General Hospital on 08 April 2026. I went in to have my Parathyroid removed and never felt more confident in the staff. They made me feel as if I was the only patient there. Thank you ALL so much. You ALL were truly AMAZING!!!
🌟1 star for the lack of professionalism and communication. We were told we would receive a follow-up after our case was reviewed, but no one ever reached out. After an attempt to follow up with his Nurse, Dr. Politz denied a consultation without any clear explanation, despite being told reconsideration was possible. The most concerning part was the lack of communication and follow-through. Being told you will receive a call and then never hearing back, especially in a medical setting, is unacceptable. Dr Politz has got to be the kindest person in the world and the most efficient and adept surgeon in the world. He has great knowledge and experience in this area of medicine. He listened to me when no other Dr. would (and I went to 6 other doctors who didn’t know what it was)and he solved my year long suffering with hypercalcemia by doing a removal of an adenoma from one of my parathyroids. I am so grateful for Dr Politz and his staff. Everybody was wonderful and I had a great experience.
