I expected another expensive repair, but the guy said it was just a bad capacitor and fixed it in an hour and I was relieved. The last provider proposed a total replacement of the unit thus this was a good learning experience that didn't cost a lot.
The technician was more careful cleaning the condenser coils than on a previous visit but I felt the booking procedure could have been smoother. They were in and out in less than an hour, checking that all was in working order and then they were gone.
The procedure was protracted due to working with the building management but after that was sorted their technician installed the portable A/C unit quickly in about an hour. It went more smoothly than any similar maintenance job I’d worked on, which frequently required several visits.
After my initial concerns, the technician efficiently installed the ductless A/C unit in less than three hours and took care to explain how the system operates. The entire process was more straightforward than my previous experience with HVAC work.
Quick and thorough A/C maintenance.
