Terrible bedside manner and approach with family and spoke about patient as she wasn’t even in the room. Lack of focus on treatment, fixated on DNR bracelet. Not exactly comforting in a heart doctor
I've been having some issues lately that landed me in Dr Bickers office. He went over my history and was very straightforward with what his thoughts were and what I should try. The staff was nice and I feel confident he will take good care of me. He is very to the point and I like that. I came to him by referral and he knows his work. Took time to explain what he thinks and I'm happy.
This Dr is a JOKE . He damned near let my husband die at Baptist Floyd. A wire to my husband's pacemaker had broken and Dr Bickerd was the one who put the pace maker in. We transferred my husband to Jewish hospital where they immediately found the problem and replaced the wire. Had we stayed at Floyd as Dr Vickers recommended until Monday (2days) later, my husband would have died. This Dr(?) Is arrogant, pushy and absolutely will not listen He only got 1 star because I had to give something.
I must say I never seen a Dr with so much compassion...My friend had a heart attack at the age of 84 a few weeks ago...Dr Brickers was so sweet to her and her sons...He explained everything and also said he had prayed for her...I think this man has a great heart and very compassionate about his patients....
