Just visited North Polk Family Medicine for a severe chest cold. Staff as always was friendly and very helpful. Dr. Layton is the best family physician my wife and I have ever had. As a small local clinic they know you by name and treat you as family. Best medical experience ever.
We brought our newborn son to Dr. Douglas Layton at North Polk Family Medicine for routine check-ups and care, but we were very disappointed with the experience. During one visit when our son was about 1 month old, a resident pediatric student asked to assess him first. He attempted to retract our uncircumcised son’s foreskin and needed to use what felt like significant force. The area became red and irritated right away. Dr. Layton is aces. I have had an aching knee for several weeks and decided to have it checked out. I had an appointment at noon. By 4:00 the same day, I had a diagnosis, X-ray, radiologist review, Dr. review, Dr. response and recommendation, and new appoint scheduled. I received treatment in less than 48 hours. This was a remarkable timeline.
So thankful to have Dr Layton and Dr Jen in Polk City! I recently have had a couple medical issues that needed immediate attention. They worked me in and had great care! They listened and gave great advice and care to resolve my issues. Definitely recommend they care, knowledge and experience with them!
Jen Blaylock is great at helping patients and she really listens I love her and would follow her wherever she practices at so much knowledge
