Very bad! Beyond words.
This provider is heavy on the talking, light on the listening. I had a nagging bone spur that caused pain with each stair, each dorsiflexion movement, each jump and here were the interventions: Steroid injection, cam boot x 3 months (he charged my insurance $300 of which i ended up paying all), cam boot for another 3 months (the previous boot broke open so i had to buy another one to which he still wanted me to buy it from his Amazon affiliate link) After diligently following his instructions and expressing that my ankle did... read more
I first saw a non-specialist, my internist, before seeing Dr. Ichikawa. If my internist had given me the advice Dr. I did, I wouldn’t have thought anything of it, since he’s not a specialist. But Dr. I is a podiatrist and sees patients with my foot issue, plantar faciitis, often. He should know better! Not only that, all the misinformation he gave me, he was very sure of himself, very unequivocal that what he was telling me was THE CORRECT ANSWER, when it most definitely WAS NOT. I told him my symptoms and he said I had plan... read more
Though I only communicated with Dr. Ichikawa & his clinic via phone and email, I was thoroughly impressed with how organized, honest and patient they were. Unfortunately, my special medical conditions revealed that I was not the right candidate for this procedure. However, the team knew this going in and had emphasized my safety as their #1 concern. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
I had a chronic "ganglion cyst" surgically removed by Dr. Ichikawa after diagnosis. What a great doctor! Not only very experienced and credentialed, but also extremely personable, kind, informative. His follow-up phone calls to make sure I was ok were wonderful to receive. I highly recommend him and the staff of his department!!
Dr. Ichikawa is wonderful. He operated on both of my feet, neurons and bunionectomy. He personally called me each time after each surgery. Recovery time a zip as compared to recovery time for bunionectomy from ano ther doctor. I love that Dr. Ichikawa is fit and embraces an athletic lifestyle because he understands sports i juries and the importance of fitness to a healthy lifestyle. He teaches at the U of W and stays on top of new procedures for his practice.
Such a wonderful Doctor! You feel welcome by his staff. Then when Dr. Ichikawa visits with you he is very patient and informative. You can tell he really loves his job!
Dr. Ichikawa had my procedure all figured out. He assured me it was simple and common. He had no time for much detail. He did need reminding what my issues were at every visit. After my procedure he had no time to find solutions to my on-going problems (not fixed by his procedure). He would not even allow the idea of anything else needing correcting. Second surgery (better dr.) issues are all corrected. Dr.s cover the other's mistake. They say "I wouldn't have done it that (wrong) way"
