We went to the Haunted Hike! I have to give a shout out to the young lady working the desk for the Ghostbusters, she was amazing and was able to calm down my little girl. My little girl recognized her as a helper from her school and trusted that she would be ok! BTW she also did great answering the phone and alerting the Ghostbusters! Thanks Douglas Hart Nature Center for putting on the Haunted Hike! Great Event!
Went for the snakes alive program. They had a tarantula, an alligator, and a few snakes. Program was interactive, allowing visitors to hold the animals, even the alligator! My only complaint was not enough structure, it became a free for all as kids were trying to jockey for position. I was very frustrated at how poorly some parents managed their children's behavior. The family fall festival was great! We love the center and try to attend every event!
