Douglas Enterprizes gets my applause for providing a set of windows at a price that seemed very reasonable and installation that was done on time, very professionally and with a minimum of downtime on our part. The windows we picked instantly blocked noise and wind from the previous cracked vinyl installation. We have had the windows for 2-3 years now. The double paned-insulated windows (bottom section) is easily slid up and swings into the home resting on a sawhorse for easy cleaning the outside without removing the screen.... read more
We used Douglas Enterprises for replacement siding on our home. Doug had exceptional follow through when we were quoting the project and prior to signing the contract. Once work began, he was less hands on, and when we had problems with the finishing work, his follow through was less than expected. We had to call him three times to get his crew back out to clean up caulking work and they never came. Doug never followed through on the back end. The siding install went well but we weren't happy with some of the caulking around... read more
Poor business practices – My wife and I purchased new windows for our entire house in December '07. In the spring of '09 we noticed moisture building up in our large picture window in the family room. Upon inspecting the rest of the house we found 3 other windows retaining moisture. I called Douglas Enterprizes under the assumption that this problem would be covered under their "lifetime warranty".
