Such an incredible place! We had our wedding at Douglas Ellington House and it was more beautiful then we could have imagined. The property is stunning and the house itself is beautifully preserved. Lauren was wonderful throughout the whole process and did everything possible to ensure we had a special day.
Happened upon this looking at maps and figured we'd drive by. Even if there hadn't been anyone there, the exterior and grounds are just fantastic and felt like visting a fairytale. Loved this little extra adventure !!
Father of the Bride here. The most magical wedding happened this weekend at the Douglas Ellington House, the perfect spot in Chunns Cove for a storybook wedding. The moment we stepped onto the grounds we knew this was the right spot. Birds rustling, the babbling brook, the old European feel of the hand built "castle" as my other daughters called it. My wife and I got married here! The wedding was beautiful, and the house is stunning and full of history and character. Lauren Rusignola was a wonderful wedding planner. She was professional, responsive, and went above and beyond our expectations to make sure the wedding went smoothly. She coordinated with the musicians, food caterers, florists, and anything else we needed. She cares a lot about her guests and wants to make sure their wedding is special. This was a lovely venue for a wedding! It's like a fairytale. My sister got married here with a small group of about 30 people (the max that would fit in the indoor dining space. I think more people would've required renting a big outdoor tent or something). My sister found Lauren to be extremely helpful in orchestrating the whole event with exceptional attention to every little detail.
