The staff are amazing. My brother-in-law spent the last 16 months of his life there. We will always be grateful for the care he received. They were so accommodating even when 10 of us showed up to celebrate his birthday.

Oh My! I was looking for care for a friend's relative and checked Nursing Home Compare and saw that The Douglas County Health Center has been downgraded from a 5 Star facility to a 1 Star facility by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This is an unfortunate development and a heart break to see such a decline. You might want to change your website to reflect that you are no longer 5 stars but down to a 1 star.
