Background: I’m a 25 year old, very active female who played lacrosse at the collegiate level and continues to run + hike long distances. I saw Dr. Allen for the first time a couple weeks ago, seeking a third opinion, after seeing a doctor in Santa Fe for inner knee pain. From the start he listened, explained the possibilities, and laid out the different paths I could take to resolve it. Dr. Allen did not perform surgery but saw my 70 year old father on several occasions during 2019 and 2020. During the most recent appointment, Dr. Allen said, "Oh, you again" as his greeting to my father. His aloof attitude implied that he was doing my father a favor by seeing him. When my father inquired if his pain could be related to nerves in the area, Dr. Allen said it was possible or "maybe you're having a heart attack." Great physician and facility. Got me in for am appointment quickly and readily diagnosed why I was having a difficulty in order to provide very effective treatment. Highly recommended!!
