The douglas transfer station is in my opinion - an unacceptably bad experience. The board of health however makes up for it by being pleasant, helpful, professional and .. just nice. I'm new to town and I've had some issues with the Transfer station. To make a long story short I marched down to the BoH to demand a refund for my dump sticker. I was angry. I was ready for a fight.
