We have bought furniture from Doughtys for years but have had a bad experience. We bought a voice-controlled reclining sofa and loveseat manufactured by Catnapper. I was concerned about the electronics going bad. Their answer was to sell me a five-year warranty from UNITERS Furniture Insurance Co, of Plam Beach, FLA. $199.00. We had an electronic control box fail seven months ago and have still not seen a repairman or the proper part. They sent the wrong part twice but refused to send the proper part.
