Such beautiful work! Unique and gifted!
I signed up for a glass blowing session with my 12 year old son, and am so glad I did. What an incredible opportunity to learn about the art from a master craftsman. My son was apprehensive, but Cameron and his team are so good (and well practiced) at stepping you through each part of the process, and looking after you every step of the way. I would very highly recommend this experience to anyone.
What a fun and unique experience! We took an ornament blowing class. Got to pick our colours, learn about safety, spin the pipes inside the glaring hot oven and help shape our bubbles. I greatly appreciated the care the team gave our 8 year old, who was a tad reluctant at first but then really warmed to the experience (and now wants to buy all the glass). I highly recommend trying a class!
This was so interesting and so much fun!!! Instructors were patient and explained everything really well. And had a great sense of humor too. Will be back again.
I was both excited and nervous to take a glassblowing class at Dougherty Glassworks excited because it’s something I’ve always wanted to try, but nervous because I have neuropathy and poor feeling in my hands. I wasn’t sure how well I’d be able to manage the tools or the heat. But I’m so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and signed up anyway.
