We moved my Mom to Dougherty Ferry Assisted Living after she couldn't live in an independent community anymore. It was a tough decision but after meeting with Andy and Mary Jane, we knew we were making the right decision. The entire staff is wonderful and the facility is clean, bright and lively. Our minds are at ease knowing she's safe and getting the care she needs.

We moved my mom into a studio apt at Doughtery ferry assisted living after we were told she could no longer live alone due to problems with her memory. It was a difficult decision that was made so much easier after I met Andy and toured the facility. I immediately knew this was the place for our mom. My husband was in their Memory Care facility. The staff are wonderful; the facility is clean and neat. The residents, outside their moments, are great. I miss going to see him, and them, each day. I may look into their volunteer opportunities after all is settled from my husband's completed earthly journey. Regards to all.

I am a service worker at a different facility, and I met with Annemarie about doing a presentation on the power of laughter. A few weeks ago, she came to my facility, and the presentation was fantastic. The residents were laughing and participating in ways that we haven't seen here in a long time. The speech was engaging and informative. I have nothing but positive things to say about the members of this staff that I've worked with, and greatly look forward to working with them in the future.

This review is long overdue! My mom has lived here for over two years and really enjoys the facility, activities and staff. She is very social here and has lots of friends, not so sure she would have been like this alone in her home. I feel very comfortable and grateful for the care she receives, the staff here is very friendly and most of all take great care of my mom. Thank you all for caring about the people that call this place home.

What a nice facility and some of the most caring staff. Costs are lower than some other assisted living places in the area. I'd suggest you check out Dougherty Ferry before making a final decision, you'll be glad you did.

I care for my stepdad long distance and I moved him to this Dougherty Ferry when it first opened in April 2016 after having a very bad experience at another STL facility. Dougherty Ferry has been a wonderful place for him. He is in the special program for those with some dementia/early Alzheimer's and can still stay on the Assisted Living side. The staff is fabulous!
