I am coming back to write about an experience I had a year ago at Dougall Vet which has become relevant again this year. TL;DR: I paid for a yearly exam on my cat, and they missed a very obvious and severe issue that should have been caught. It is now costing me thousands to fix, and my cat is currently in surgery at her regular clinic. I have two cats. If I'd realized these were the same folks that run the Huron Church vet clinic I would not have gone here. Had a bad experience with our old dog towards the end of his life. Brought our new dog here for vaccinations and scheduled a follow up to finish off the heartworm testing and blood work. Showed up to a sign on the door saying they were closed due to a family emergency. Okay, sometimes things happen, but no call to cancel and no callback a week later? Won't be wasting my time here again.
I had such a wonderful experience with this veterinary clinic! The doctor was incredibly sweet and genuinely caring toward my cat from the moment we walked in. They treated her with so much gentleness and patience, making sure she was comfortable and calm throughout the entire visit. I have non stop issues with this place, first of all they over charge! Secondly they are extremely unprofessional. I will set up appointments to get there and no one’s there… this has happened on multiple occasions. Then they try to lie and blame me. The women told me that it’s because I cancelled my dog’s appointment 3 times that’s why… I have never cancelled an appointment for my dog ever!
