I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink around 11am this morning. Doug's plumbing had good reviews, so I called. The person who answered was helpful and friendly, and one hour later a plumber was at my door. He discovered the problem, a rusted pipe. By 2pm, it was fixed. I can't believe how easy that was! Not called “Doug the plumber” anymore. They changed their name or got bought out or something. Forget offhand what it’s called now. Anyway plumber came in and looked at my leaking toilet(leaking around the bottom on the floor, not clogged and overflowing). He pulled off the toilet and cleaned up the floor, inspected the toilet itself, replaced the wax seal and reinstalled the toilet. Also shimmed it because apparently it had a slight wobble. Wasted an entire day waiting for them to show up after taking a week to get around to me. They rescheduled and wasted more time before completely canceling at the last minute toward the end of the day. My toilet is still a backed up, smelly mess. Total disappointment.
We had some tricky plumbing AND a couple of different manufacturers defects but Jacob did not give up! I am 100% satisfied by the work he did and will continue to use them and recommend their services to friends. Dispatch was very communicative and helpful. All around great experience!
