Loved our first Doug Howard home so much that we had him build us a larger model (Swan II). We love our second house even better! I have found Doug to be a man of integrity who does what he says he is going to do. His team of contractors are also really awesome! They do great work and are always pleasant to talk to when visiting during the building process. If integrity, ethical dealings, responsiveness, and customer service matter to you, I would strongly advise you seek out a different home builder. Below are just some of the issues encountered: 1. I sent a copy of the independent inspection report with punch list items to the Doug directly. My agent also sent a formal remedy request to Doug’s agent. Doug never responded (breach of contract). The excuse received from Doug’s agent was Doug was taking his last vacation of the summer. Doug waited until the night before close to ... read more
