1 star The steam room at Doug Ellis Pool has had mould on the bench seats for over six months, and nothing appears to have been done about it. The benches have a strong mouldy, musty smell that is immediately noticeable when you enter. Apart from being unpleasant, this is a hygiene and health concern. The steam room feels unsanitary and uncomfortable to use, especially considering it is a public facility. Great facilities and good pricing. A complementary parking permit was included with my membership which was appreciated. I went to a term of Learn to Swim lessons as a non-student community member and the staff were all extremely lovely. My swim teacher in particular, Angelique was excellent, providing engaging, easy to follow lessons and clear feedback. 10/10 Angelique best swim teacher OCE

We’ve been attending swimming lessons here for three years now and have consistently had a great experience. The lessons are well run, and the instructors and lifeguards are always friendly, helpful, and professional. We already miss Alex who has left, we still highly recommend Doug Ellis Swimming Pools for kiddies swimming lessons.
