Four-star building, one-star hospitality The property itself is genuinely good. Clean, well-maintained, comfortable rooms, solid amenities — on facilities alone I'd give it four stars without hesitation. What happened at the front desk is why I can't recommend it. Going on a family trip, I shouldn’t have to fix the toilet every time my family or I used the bathroom. It was frustrating and honestly disgusting. We stayed from Friday through Sunday in Room #409. I reported the issue and even asked to be accommodated, but I was told all the rooms were sold out. I understood that and wasn’t upset about the lack of availability. Fantastic stay at DoubleTree Raleigh-Durham! The warm, fresh cookies at check-in were a great welcome. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a charming retro design. The staff was incredibly attentive, accommodating, and very family-friendly. The location is convenient, and the pool and lake view was absolutely stunning such a beautiful, peaceful landscape. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
