Horrible we had a hockey tournament the pool was broken all the doors were locked kids can’t play knee hockey they say they have conference rooms open then we ask and they don’t then they say kids can’t be running with cell phones like what horrible they emailed us before we even got there they threatened to kick us out horrible never ever ever stay there.! !!!! !!! !!!!!!! !!

The DoubleTree offers a downtown South Bend setting with a connection to Century Center. A location to consider when planning a gathering in the heart of the city. If your gathering involves Century Center, ask about the hotel connection and event-room options when comparing locations for your group. My experience with this place was about 3 years ago.

No sound proofing between rooms, you will hear everything in neighboring rooms. Rooms are small and what is billed as a King suite has only a tiny double bed. Obnoxiously loud exhaust fans in atrium lobby.

I am a Hilton Gold member and Hilton is usually my first choice. (I'm a Marriott Gold member also.) I used points to book my room for one night. I love the Hilton chat app where you can converse with the Front Desk prior to arrival. Three days before arrival, I sent a text and asked if a complimentary upgrade was available. I was informed to contact the hotel again on the day of check in. I did that and I was excited to receive a text stating I was upgraded to the Presidential Suite!!
