Hotel’s A/C was clearly broken. Instead of being honest about it, they tried to act like it wasn’t broken so they could keep my money. It was operating at “60% capacity” according to the guy at the front desk, who clearly just made up that number. He then explained to me in a condescending tone that no cancellations are available because the A/C is good enough. I booked another hotel immediately. It was a very hot and humid night, broken A/C was a total dealbreaker and these dishonest scumbags couldn’t own up to that
Not happy about stay at all had to suffer threw not having air conditioning during one of the hottest nights of the year which caused my asthma to flare up severely eventually leading to a hospital visit..So not pleased and still sick..So all the positives about this place took a back seat when they had no empathy at all,after calling about 4 times throughout the night,didn't change my room when I seen others rooms being changed all I recieved was an apology the next morning while heading out to the hospital I guess being a ... read more
Modern, contemporary room decor, comfortable beds/bedding and feather pillows create a relaxing, peaceful vibe. Hotel restaurant offers pretty good food (breakfast for sure), and the choco chip walnut cookie at check-in is surprisingly tasty, even more so when you eat it warm! Safe enough to walk around and sit outside at night downtown location and an unusually artistic lobby seating area (Books! Baby grand piano!). Worth repeat stays.
