Best hotel experience imaginable. The beds are soft and comfy. The rooms are clean and fresh. You can tell it is cleaned well and often. The kitchen knows what they are doing and the interior has an awesome retro vibe with an indoor pool for the kids. Really a fantastic place. Make sure to say hi to Lisa at the front desk. Friendly staff, but rooms and public spaces while clean are very tired. I wish there was more within walking distance. There is a convenience store next door which is helpful.

Hmmmm. Pluses, great bedding overall, variety of pillow heights, A/C settable, magnifying mirror, make up removal wipe provided, cool building, friendly staff, shuttle to nearby concert was a surprising bonus. Water pressure was low and it felt really hard to get a good temperature on both shower and sink. Low light in bathroom hard to put on makeup. Neither mine or the other room had a shower cap. Overall felt more like a 3.5 star hotel, not at the level I'm used to for Doubletree. Still happy with my stay though.
