The DoubleTree Chicago–Wood Dale–Elk Grove is about a 20-minute drive from O’Hare Airport, making it a convenient option for layovers or quick stays. It’s not connected to the CTA or Metra, so you’ll need a car, and the hotel sits in more of an industrial area without restaurants in easy walking distance. As a lifetime Diamond, the Double Tree in Elk Grove IL on Mittal Drive is one of the worst condition Hilton Properties I have ever stayed at - run down, disrepair, damages finishes, weed filled landscaping, dirty bathroom, aged and missing caulk, mold in the water fountain in the fitness center. I strongly suggest Hilton audit this property and inspect it for yourselves. A disservice to the brand. Never coming back, ever
Check-in was not ready at 3:00. Once I got the digital key the room was cleanly but the bathroom has hair, damage, and missing amenities. Not looking for a different room after my interactions with front desk. Try a different hotel.
