We went for a weekend getaway Feb 6-8. Although it was mucky as the weather warmed we were prepared as we had good boots. The cabin was simple, bed table, coffee maker mini fridge. We paid 60 or $80 a night. I can’t remember. The hosts were very nice and hospitable. We went fishing off a bridge. Can’t wait to go back in the spring and bring our trailer. Lori and Donato
Phenomenal place to stay when out hunting. So much hospitality and warm welcomes from owners. Amazing home cooked meals. Highly recommend staying here.
Stayed here for a week for October anterless opener. It’s under new management — Jill and Shad are terrific hosts and are making numerous upgrades. I’m excited to see what they make the place into! It’s already very comfortable and has all of the amenities you need. These aren’t well documented so let me try to help: - Flush toilets as long as the weather is above freezing, lots of portapotties and outhouses conveniently located in the site - 3 showers, 1 completely indoors. Friendly hosts
The new owners and operators, Jilland Shad, are wonderful and caring. They made sure our stay was pleasant, welcomed with warm smiles and helped us. They were working hard to slowly make the venue even better and more cozy. I look forward to see how the place turns out in the future. Definitely will make here on my way to or from Shambhala MF whenever I get a chance. They also have a little general store with some essentials, drinks, and breakfast sandwiches.
