We contacted Double D's Stump Grinding & Removal for an estimate to cut down our big Cleveland Pear tree after high winds split the trunk. Don gave us a very fair price and was able to do the job the following week. We were very impressed with how quickly and efficiently he was able to complete the job. This owner has demonstrated discriminatory behavior. In a review of his interaction with a neighbor, he refused to move his truck and made a taunting remark, saying, “your kind always act like this.” According to his own response, all that was required was for him to move his vehicle, but instead he chose to make racially charged comments and escalate the situation. If you’re comfortable hiring someone who exhibits this kind of behavior, that’s your choice—but be aware that he does not treat all people with equal respect.

This company came and did work for my neighbor. He parked the truck and trailer on the side of my house across the street from another neighbor’s house and since there was a car on the opposing side of the street my other neighbor could not get by to get home. When this neighbor approached the operator of the equipment, he started yelling at him and told my neighbor, no I will not move my truck I’ll be done in 30 minutes you’ll have to wait.
