Went to my nephew‘s wedding. It was a very nice venue however, the wedding planner had several minor meltdowns with an earshot of guests, including me. You would think someone who does this for a living would have more decorum and what they say when they are in the guest space.
Beautiful place.
There is no doubt that the place is beautiful. When you visit to book, you will find a spacious enclosed reception area that is rustic and romantic. You will be happy to see exposed duct work and thermostats (and assume your special day will be nice and cool). But when you arrive, it'll be a scorching 98 steamy degrees...INSIDE... You will then be informed "there is no a/c" and you need to "open all of the windows (without screens)"...in TEXAS?? Absolutely terrible people. Would not recommend doing business with this place. You will not get what you pay for and you will be very disappointed in the owners actions/words. To start off with they do not want to turn the ac on in the reception area took us having to argue and many people getting aggravated to get the lady to turn on the ac. Mind you, it’s an enclosed room in TEXAS. We paid for the whole weekend so we could have time to enjoy our wedding on Saturday and to be able to clean up on Sunday. Well Saturday eveni... read more
