I have since moved out of MI many years ago. Dr. Ligon delivered both of our boys via C-Section. He was my OB and my primary dr. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Ligon’s bedside manner, his genuine care, holding my hand before surgery, and how he listens and his expertise, plus so much more. Dr. Ligon is a wonderful dr and man. Sure miss him.
Dr. Ligon saved me from many years of pain. I had been to no less than 5 doctors who never could figure out that I had endometriosis. I also probably would have never had my son had Dr. Ligon not stepped in and helped with the PCOS. There are not very many doctors I have respect for due to so many things that were missed with myself and family members. I have the highest respect for this man. Dr. Ligon is the best doctor I have EVER had. Since I moved from Grand Rapids, I cannot find a doctor that compares to him in any way. He is simply the best! I'm spoiled forever.
Simply the best. Has been my wife's Dr for 25 years and his knowledge and pro-active intervention literally saved her life. The best Dr around.

I came to Dr.Ligon in 2014 when i found out I was having mono/do twins, and he is the best doc ever. I carried my twins all the way til 37weeks and he was all for my vaginal delivery! My boys had other plans though lol so he gave me a csection and did an excellent Job!
I feel very comfortable with him. He has so much knowledge, I never doubt him, and I leave his office feeling confident. He is very proper and kind. I have been a patient of Dr Ligons over 25 years. I feel very blessed with him as my GYN.
Dr. Ligon is soft spoken, a good listener, and always is concerned about his patients' overall health. I have seen him over 20 years. I hate to think that he will probably retire one day because I have met quite a few caretakers, but few compare to Dr. Ligon. His students are also fortunate to have such a knowledgeable and skilled professor to prepare them for a career in medicine.
Dr. Ligon has been my primary care doc since 1982 934 years ago!), when I came to Grand Rapids. He delivered my son and has always taken phenomenal care of me. I have told him that he may not retire until after I have passed!! He is the most remarkable doctor to ever provide me treatment!!
