Huge shoutout to the team at this hospital. On a day that was already arduous and challenging due to the floods, my partner slipped and injured himself pretty substantially.. every person we spoke to was warm, welcoming and kind. Angela’s sense of humour and sincere level of care and empathy brought such a sense of comfort to us both. Whilst travelling through Dorrigo my wife and I became very ill with Covid, all the staff at the hospital were very good but a special mention to Angela who visited us on a daily basis at the campground we were stay at to check on our welfare and if there was anything that we needed. Also the paramedics that had to be called provided excellent assistance when hospitalisation was needed.
My wife and I were in Dorrigo on a day trip from our home in Port Macquarie. Unfortunately, I suffered a massive heart attack and my wife quickly took me to the hospital. Dr Paul and his wonderful team of nurses quickly saved my life and arranged a rapid transfer to Coffs Harbour hospital for further treatment. Fantastic service!
