Galesburg Ford Well, as the commercials of Galesburg Ford say "Galesburg Ford, not too far for your next car" it may be false advertisement. I've only had experience with this place once, but I've known a few people who were dissatisfied by their transaction with the dealership. Worst experience ever! It went from the best experience to the worst in a little over a week. I have been dealing with this dealership for years as they serviced my previous ford vehicle. About a month ago I traded in my old truck for a new one and everything was great. About three weeks afterward I get a call from the salesman stating that my payoff for my trade in was more than they thought!! Work to be done Me and my wife we brand new customers and new to area. We chose Galesburg ford because they are suppose to be small dealer with good service. Overall we were satisfied about the convenience but our salesman wasn't overly helpful. He up sold us on a few items after he got us in the door because the vehicle we originally wanted he said was already sold. We had to get a car because we were on tight time frame.
