My life changed when I met Dr. Spambalg. She taught me how to take my thyroid medication to make it more effective. She treated a growth in my thyroid and has helped me with changing my physical health. She is one of the smartest people I know and I highly recommend her. She is a "tough love" physician, and that can be difficult, but it's worth it for me and my health.

If you want the full story you're welcome to read my review on yelp. But since the characters are limited, all I can say is that I balanced my thyroid not because of her but in spite of her incompetence. She overmedicated me which resulted in hives. In desperation I reached out to an allergist and to a reputable Doctor at Cedar Sinai when I suspected this is what was happening. It offended her that I sought a second opinion. But I'm not sorry. Is no nonsense (but is nice and considerate about it), follows up like no ones business, has an amazing front desk staff who are ON TOP OF IT. Does it hurt my pocketbook that she is Out of Network? Yes a bit, but I also do the work on my end to get that handled with my insurance afterwards. It is worth it, because i feel very much that I am in good hands. Now that I have a kid on the way, oh man, you best believe I am only going to work with a medical team I feel to be in good hands with.

Let’s get the only “negative” out of the way. As of this writing, I do not believe this Doctor takes insurance (or at least my insurance). So if you’re prepared to pay out of pocket and mail your own claims, this doctor and her staff are about as good as the medical experience can get. Dr Spambalg is attentive, caring, smart and focused. I 100% trust my health in her care.
