The hospital's hematology/oncology department is undoubtedly the most positive unit, especially Dr. Douglas's close attention to my daughter's treatment enabled my daughter to respond to the treatment in a much more conscious way, unfortunately we met with cancer, but all the doctors and nurses in the department are so knowledgeable and caring that you feel safe. The appt with Dr Douglas was a disappointment. Her bedside manners were lacking as usual. At times she comes across as passive aggressive making comments and when I have a follow up question she's quick to say "No judgement, no judgement". There is no need to ask why my wife has a different last name than mine. Dr Douglas has an indirect way of casting judgement and making us feel uncomfortable.
