This is a follow up to my previous review of Ms Sipes I retained Doris Sipes early in February 2022 to help me with my divorce and would NOT recommend. Over the course of her representation, I did not like the way she would express herself, nor her suggestions on what I should do, which my common sense did not agree on…. that made me extremely anxious and confused. Doris Sipes is not human but a monster to me. Do not go there. So-called "free" consultation is the trap. Do not step foot in that door. THE LURE. Her modus operandi is profoundly stating "I will fight for you!" LIES. A liar who never lifted a legal finger on my behalf nor utilized one scintilla of legal brain (gone by now). DO NOT HIRE This lawyer. Beyond unprofessional. She dragged my case for 6 months and pushed out my audiences because she was never prepared nor worked my case. She will viciously lie to you in your face. She is a nut case. She stressed me out to the point of making me sick. She will not give you your money back even though she does nothing for you. Her time is well overdue I am so glad I dropped her and found a terrific lawyer that did so much in 3 days versus 6 months of hell with Sipes
She withdrew from my divorce case days before MSJ. She told me to settle for a lesser amount because she said she would not live long enough to see any money. My husband hired an appellate attorney. Perhaps he knew he would lose our case. He held all our assets and money in his name (I trusted him as I knew him since I was 3 years old and we had been together 27 years). While going through a painful annulment process, I hired Doris Sipes thinking she would be a woman with integrity and with the goal of helping other women. However, she made this process much harder and more costly. First, be aware she does NOT work her account, her daughter does. Doris will not make you aware of this in her consultation.
