I had a terrible experience at Dorevitch Pathology. The person who drew my blood left my arm incredibly sore; they weren’t careful enough to do it gently, were not very communicative and gave me the impression that she didn’t even know how to draw blood. In all my life, I have never had a bruise from a blood test and I have never experienced any issues with this type of procedure before. I’ve had ongoing issues using Dorevitch for the same blood tests I get every three months. Each visit (at different locations) seems to involve a different problem. Most recently, I was told I needed to be fasting even though my referral did not require fasting, and I was asked to pay $75 for one of the tests despite it usually being covered by Medicare. Arrived at 8.40. Rang the bell. There was 1 person in front of me. Waited until 9.20 no sign of anyone would attend us. The guy before me left and then I left too. With all the bad reviews, better just close the practice.

Terribly rude staff member who didn’t have anyone in the room refused to serve and instead lashed out for not waiting “till ready” despite 10 minutes after the last patient was served (no one else was waiting). No number cards at the studio so how was I supposed to know if I will be called or if the place was going to close. . People with power trips shouldn’t be in healthcare. I had to get an urgent blood test done and this has left me with no option but to be left untreated.
