I’ve attended Dorevitch Pathology Brunswick East twice now at varying times of the day and never had to wait - they are quick, friendly and professional. For someone who is quite nervous with blood tests, the team are always happy to have a chat to distract you and really kind.
I visited the clinic last month for a blood test. The process itself was smooth and the wait time was reasonable. Had no issues with the overall process. What I do have an issue with is the lack of transparency regarding payment. I came here for a simple blood test in June. There was no queue, yet I was left waiting over 20 minutes before being called in. Before proceeding, I very clearly told both the nurse and receptionist that I do not have Medicare and directly asked about the cost. They assured me multiple times that it was "free" regardless of Medicare status. Based on that information, I agreed to go ahead. Pretty smooth process, first in first served. Opens at 8am and the collectors have been lovely when I have required a pathology service. They bulk bill too if requested by your GP.
