If there is no procedure underway in the pathology room, the door should be ajar. Or the collector should come out and check if there are people waiting. There was a very large official sign on the door saying that if door is shut, take a number and a seat and wait to be called. There was a bell, with a handwritten post-it note stuck above it to call bell. I have been here for myself + a family member too. The staff are super friendly and really helpful to distract you if you are nervous at all about needles. They are also really great with older patients to who have different needs. They are super calm too.

Opens at 8am 4 people waiting first person goes in and 8.20am that person takes 15mins - over an hour wait for the fourth person, so much for quick bloods before work. Find somewhere else! The drive to Greensborough might be better

This just happenned in front of me. It's 2.45 and the technician or nurse or whatever, has already gone home, apparently without explanation and without replacement, An elderly lady has just walked in, she had previously been told to make sure she sees them today, and no one is here. It's cold and pouring rain outside and the receptionist has told her to "write a letter" and that the nearest Dorevitch is in Eltham. First class effort, proving once again that no profession is more overrated, more overtrusted and more indiffer... read more
