Unprofessional staff, no help with delayed results

They can be motivated to talk to waiting patients. They can be motivated to work fast. They can be motivated to be empathetic about others time. Patients seating outside have no idea how much time it will take to get their turn. Same issue again and again, especially on weekend. An hour of waiting and still no idea when will we get our turn. Preety sad situation.

The waiting time was minimal, and I received excellent service from the nurse who took my bloods today. I usually have a lot of difficulty having blood taken as my veins can be very hard to find. However, the nurse found a vein straight away and made the whole process quick and easy. I was extremely impressed, especially as I had been considering leaving the pathology clinic without having my bloods taken because of my previous experiences. I arrived at the pathology clinic at 5:45 PM, even though the clinic was scheduled to close at 6:00 PM. The staff had already taken the number board inside, and despite knocking on the door multiple times, no one responded. They only opened the door at 6:00 PM and then refused to accept my test, saying I was late. This was a very disappointing experience, especially since my tests were urgent. If they were no longer accepting patients, they should have informed me when I arrived instead of making me wait outside for 15 minut... read more

I was very impressed with the professionalism and care shown by the staff when I had my bloods done. I walked straight in and was seen straight away. The pathologist was very patient and told me to take my time while I was trying to locate my referral on my phone. I explained that I sometimes get anxiety when I'm out in public and she was so understanding. We had a lovely chat while I was getting my bloods taken. Excellent service all around.
