Dr. Agnese followed me as her high risk patient for years prior to my breast cancer diagnosis. She has always been medically thorough, and given me options including coordinating with plastic surgeon and radiation oncologist prior to surgery for opinions and options. Have been going to Dr Agnese for three years and the last appointment she was so aloof and hurried to get out the door. Quite a weird appointment that left me feeling dissatisfied, like I got only half an appointment. If the doctor chooses to not connect then I’ll start searching for someone else to treat me. Shame!!
I found Dr. Agnese an excellent communicator, very professional and extremely qualified. The Ohio State University Medical center is a top provider in cancer care. It is sad 😢 that another reviewer is blaming her for a failure of the system. We must advocate for our families. Passive acceptance is not an option for you or me. My mother went to Dr agnese the first time in 2007 for a mole on her arm that Dr agnese had removed and closed up with 22 Staples down her right arm. My mother kept seeing Dr agnese to keep (what we thought) a close look on her for any new growths or moles or anything worrisome. In early 2008 my mom had noticed a lump under her right arm near her arm pit in her lymph node that grew extremely fast.
