Very professional and easy to talk to, highly recommend.
I was not impressed with Dr. Burks' office. The communication was poor to nonexistent. Admittedly, I was new to the process in her office. With that said, the lack of communication put me in a hard situation. When I called to discuss the issues, Dr Burks informed me that she was not aware of what information was given, or not give, to me by the office assistants. I have been a patient of Dr. Burks for over 20 years. I plan to have her as my rheumatologist for many more years! She has helped me in so many ways. She is very intelligent and knowledgeable. Also, sweet and such a good listener. She will take all the time you need and never makes you feel hurried. Her staff is pleasant and always responsive and helpful. She's been my doctor for almost 20 years. Her bedside manner is always kind and comforting. Her technical skill is impeccable. And her staff is always nice and they follow up on prescription needs, etc. very promptly.
