Very relaxing. Crew engaged with everyone and explained workings of a skip jack well. I would highly recommend doing it.
It was a delightful afternoon for a sail. I expected to do more than go in circles in front of the bridge but that was the itinerary. The captain and docents were nice .
We had a wonderful time this past Saturday on the sip and sail skipjack outing. It was very informative and educational. Dredging for oysters and working with the sails is a lot of work, and I’m glad we were able to experience this. Good wine and cheese and the skipjack staff were most helpful. Job well done!!!!!!!!
Beautiful and educational evening on the Choptank! Learning about mayland oystering, plus enjoying wine and charcuterie with fellow guests was more than expected. Thank you to the crew and docents!
Great experience with a knowledgeable and fun crew and captain. Absolutely a must do if visiting Cambridge and want to learn about local history and culture of Cambridge’s oyster harvesting from the past.
