We had a new AC unit installed by Dor Mar of Newark in 2022. Originally the wrong unit was ordered, then the correct unit was installed improperly and wouldn't work. They came out many times over the past two years with different technicians and failed attempts at correcting the problem. All technicians acknowledged the problem and that it was due to improper installation and we were told multiple times it would be fixed. Finally though, they refused to answer our phone calls. I have had the very unfortunate experience of using Dormar more than one time, hoping I was just getting unlucky with them. No such luck (hah). Shout out to Brian for replacing my UV light. He was very polite and professional. He also checked the AprilAire unit and explained how to use it efficiently. He was so helpful! Highly recommend him!

I want to take this time to write a review for Dor Mar on two gentlemen one name Alan and I can't remember the young mans name who actually diagnosed the problem prior to Alan coming to fix it. My air unit was leaking for some time and I wasn't aware of it I wasn't able to keep my home cool when it was very hot outside. OUT STANDING JOB!!! Tom out did himself re-installing my coils for my air conditioning, I have cold air now! This young man did it all by himself he's a hard worker. I am impressed with all the work he did, he was professional and a very pleasant person. I have to admit DorMar your workers have done it again! Tom rechecked for leaks and there weren't any. Today Alan and Matt installed a Rheam heat pump system in my home. They were on time, worked very diligently and did a super job with the installation. They explained everything that was going to happen, answered all of my questions and did a thorough job in the clean up process. They are an asset to the company and I highly recommend Dor-Mar if you need anything done with your heating and air conditioning systems.

I contacted Dor Mar for a problem with my 23 y/o heat pump. Nick was the technician that came out the same day. After we analyzed the problems I decided to replace the heat pump instead of spending 600 to find out where it was leaking. Nick was very helpful in determining what I needed and what would be the best solution for me. I was well pleased with the entire process. Nick is definitely an asset to the company.

I contacted Dor-Mar last year to put a new Air-Conditioner in because the old one had ice build up and it went kaput. They came within a day after signing the contract. I was impressed with Ben and Matt, they took their time to make sure the leveling of the unit was right and that the air flow was on point.
