The original DOP was one of my favourite restaurants in the city. It’s been many years since and this place has become so mediocre. The meatballs are still great but everything else is just so-so. I remember thinking how amazing even the grilled bread tasted. Now, even the bread just tastes average, it’s a shame.
What a great experience at Dopo for our anniversary! From the moment we walked in, we genuinely felt like family. The ambiance and atmosphere are warm, inviting, and make you want to stay and enjoy the evening. The service was fantastic and really added to the experience, but the true star is the kitchen. The food was absolutely amazing every dish we tried was full of flavour and clearly made with care. We can’t wait to come back and try some of the other items on the menu. Definitely a place we’ll be visiting again!
Service was unreal, probably the best I’ve experienced in the city. The vibes were so cozy and homey. Perfect restaurant will definitely be back. Forgot to picture the rest.
A charming upscale restaurant for a special night out. A must visit for Calgary! Make sure to book reservations far in advance because this place is always busy. Stairs to the entrance are a bit tricky to notice but make for a unique first impression. Comfortable atmosphere, noise level, and seating.
