Applied for an apartment through this set of scammers. They use the fact that NYC renters have such weak rights to their absolute advantage. I looked at an apartment, applied , and the landlord and approval process was very obtuse and took quite some time. During that time , I was able to find another apartment , get approved and complete paperwork. They only focus on their profit they don’t give a shit about us tenants because they know they will get more profit from the landlord. These guys are very shady. They do not provide the landlords info to tenants properly. My landlord has held my security deposit for one year now that too for no reason. I have sent them several emails for some help.
