My cat, resting on my porch, was mauled by a shepard and his husky friend running loose. By the time I found her it was a Saturday when most Vet offices are closed. Tried to rush him to San Leandro Vet but they didn’t have “the staff resources” (ie likely no Vet on duty). From the minute I walked into the exam room I felt something wasn’t right. Took my dog in for an exam to get her teeth cleaned. The vet didn’t even touch my dog or look at her teeth then he said he would come back my an estimate. They had the nerve to say it would cost from $500 to $1000 for the cleaning. Then they asked if wanted I wanted pay this upfront. Stay away from place if you love your pet and don’t want to get robbed. The exam fee is rip off too. The women who answer the phones and work the front desk are really, really bad. One time I paid for flea and tick meds for my dog, and they forgot to give me the meds that I paid for. I asked them to microchip my cat, and they forgot that too. I had to come back and take a day off from work. There's a Filipino woman, tortoise glasses and a lot of makeup, she lied to us. We brought our dog here after he got bit. Our dog had two small but deep punctures. They decided to cut each puncture into 4" long incision which got badly infected. Our dog is way worse off after coming here. We paid over $1000 to have our dog messed up now having to pay over 4k at another vet to try to save him.
